GREAT ALBUM!! I only got my copy of this album after getting THE YEAR OF THE GENTLEMAN!! I had known the singles from it already but fell in love with all the other tracks. My favorite from this one is DO YOU..which I realte to more than any other song from Ne-Yo!! These days I am feeling MAKE IT WORK..I LOVE the lyrics, since they reflect how I live my life, the strings/guitar are excellent..love them. CAN WE CHILL..has grown leaps and bounds on me in the last few weeks...but from te time I heard SAY IT...I had to listen to it about thrice and take some time to let my imagination run wild...DAMN...lucky woman who wins your heart!!!!
I still prefer the last album because I didn't know much about you before CLOSER erupted last year...so I feel like I was on a journey with you and this one, which makes it really close to my heart!
It is quite obvious taht you cannot make a bad album...so looking forward to an even greater one to follow this one!

Album #2 Because of You....Where do I start? How about the video to the title track. The video was perfect. The song is classic.....and made me a bigger fan than I already was. I love this song!! And the video is sooooooooooo SEXY. I made my sister and all of my friends stand up and recognize Ne-Yo last year on our way to the Essence Fest. I insisted that your CD was played in the car. By the time we got back home they were all buying your album. You are the GREATEST!!!!!

MAKE IT WORK ' BECAUSE OF YOU ' will always have a special place in my heart because thats what me stand up and notice you in the first place. I honestly did not know anything about you before i heard this song. But after one or two listens i ran out to the store the next day and purchased this album and after listening to it i purchased your first album. I talk so much about your because of you song that sometimes its easy to firget your other great songs on the album. I love your song ' MAKE IT WORK' its one of my favs on this album. The music and words are in perfect unison and because of that the song comes off brillant. ' LEAVING TONIGHT' is also a very nice song. many people out their can relate to it. Its soothing, yet sort of unsettled. You have to think! ??? his he really cheating on her??? and his she really kicking him out? I personally think that her mind his saying that he is but her heart won't ever let him go. NO HE'S NOT LEAVING TONIGHT OR ANY OTHER TIME FOR THAT MATTER!
